The Chowdhary Charan Singh Agricultural University of Haryana announced on Tuesday that it is Rs. 1.5 million to the Crown Assistance Fund set up by the state government to prevent the global epidemic from spreading. The CSAU officials decided to contribute part of their salary to the Clemency Fund. The university family gathers about one crore for fifty rupees. All staff, including officials, teaching and non-teaching staff, will contribute a portion of their monthly salaries to the fund, the university vice chancellor, C.P. Singh, said.
The university has already distributed some 300 masks from the textile and clothing design department.
Qualified students who live at the university have been given uninfected material to make masks at home, and this process of mask spreading continues. The masks will be distributed free of charge to families living at the university to prevent them from receiving the coronavirus, added Singh.
