The Tamil Prime Minister, Tamil Nadu Edapadi K Palaniswamy, announced on Tuesday that the state exams for 10th and 11th grade students will be held at the school. Courses that had been postponed in the state were cancelled due to a blockade imposed in connection with the outbreak of Covida 19 disease.
The Chief Minister also announced that students will receive 80 percent of the points based on their quarterly and half-yearly examinations, while the remaining 20 percent will be awarded on the basis of attendance.

He added that the students will move up the career ladder without taking exams and that the decision on the public exam in grade 12 will be taken by the school.

42 flights at Chennai International Airport
A total of 42 flights were operated between Chennai and the major cities on Tuesday.

The first flight from Chennai to Port Blair departed from Chennai International Airport at 5:05 am and the last flight to Tiruchirapalli departed from Chennai today at 20:10 am.
Chennai Corporation launches freevideo watching application
CCMD launched Vidmed on Tuesday, an application for free medical consultations via video. The application brings patients into contact with doctors and provides access to virtual treatment without having to contact other people, as opposed to personal consultations.
Currently the application is only available for Android users.

The South Railway starts at noon. The Intercity Junidrei trains will be put into service.
In an attempt to restore the normal course of events in the state, the Southern Railway has operated a number of trains since the 12th century. Three intercity trains were put into service in June. Reservations for these special trains start on Wednesday (10 June).
According to the press release, trains will be running every day. Two special trains run on the Tiruchirapalli and Changalpatta lines. One train runs on the main line with stops at Thanjawur, Kumbakonam, Mailadutrai, Tiripadirippuliur, at the junction of Vilupuram and Melmaruvatuur, while the other train runs on the single line with stops at Arialur, at the junction of Vilupuram and Melmaruvatuur.
There will also be a special train from Arakonam to Coimbatore, stopping at Katpadi, Jolapetai, Salem, Eroud Junction and Tirupur.
The Tiruchirapalli-Changalpet super speed special starts at 7 am and reaches Changalpet at 11.30 pm. On the way back he leaves Chungalpet at 4.45 pm and reaches Tiruchirapalli at 9.05 pm.
The special edition of Cengalpattu-Tiruchirapalli starts at 18:00 and reaches Cengalpattu at 12:40. From Changalpatta the train leaves at 14:00 and reaches Tiruchirapalli at 20:10.

Tamil Nadu processed 34,000 cases and the rate reached 307..
